2. List  your stores foods & their prices they sell for in store

3. Place Order for amount to be picked up by nonprofit

We work exclusively with verified 501(c)(3) Non Profits to make sure the food is utilized as a charitable contribution.

We send out reports of food contributions of your store highlighting the amount you were able to provide and the value of the food for your records.

Your deduction is the  lesser  of:  

a. your  tax  basis  for  the  donated food  (generally,  your cost)  plus  one‐half 
of the  profit margin (fair market value minus  the  tax  basis),  or 

b. twice your  tax basis.
Fair  market value  is your  normal  selling price—what you charge for  food of 
the  same type and quality. The food must be “apparently wholesome.

Donors are protected by numerous national and state legislative bills created solely to protects donors. This includes the Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Act, exempts donors from potential liability or damages related to the donation of perishable foods.
